Hector Cuper, the head coach of the Egypt national football team, announces 23 football players in the squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia:

Midfielders: Omar Gaber (Los Angeles), Tarek Hamed (Zamalek), Abdalla Said (Kuopion PS), Sam Morsy (Wigan), Mohamed El Neny (Arsenal), Trezeguet (Kasimpasa).
Forwards: Marwan Mohsen (Al Ahly), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Shikabala (Al Raed), Kahraba (Al Ittihad), Ramadan Sobhy (Stoke City), Amr Warda (Atromitos).
The Egypt national team would be an ordinary African team if it were not for the forward Mohamed Salah, its main star. Salah has had an excellent season in Liverpool and got into the final of the UEFA Champions League. He is a contender to the Golden Ball title for this season. In the Champions League final Salah got injured and, perhaps, he won't be able to recover before the tournament. However, Mohamed entered the squad any way and he must help the team with decisive matches.
The team goalkeeper also attracts attention. 45-year-old Essam El Hadary is the oldest player on the tournament. Will he become the first goalkeeper of the team on the tournament?
